Approximately 22 scrapbooks documenting the history of the Washington College of Law as well as its founder Ellen Spencer Mussey. Of note are several scrapbooks relating to Kappa Beta Phi, a woman’s law sorority and two documenting the 1902 encampment of the Grand Army of Republic in Washington, DC in 1902. The scrapbooks contain menus, newspaper clippings, programs, and photographs. Also included are issues of the WCL student newspaper, The Grit, its yearbook, The Memo, and Mussey family correspondence.
